Numbers Go Up! Like My Car on a Hill!

Right then I heard some fellas talking about numbers bigger numbers than the ones I use to count my jelly beans. Cisco apparently did a good job like when I try to paint my flat without making a mess (doesn't usually work does it?). They earned 96 cents instead of 92! That's like finding an extra biscuit in the packet! Revenue also went up whatever that is but it sounds important like having enough petrol to get to the seaside. Zoom zoom!

Money Money Money! It's a Rich Man's World... Or Is It?

They say the money they make is more than last year. Makes me wonder if I should invest. But then again I’d probably end up investing in… well beans. Talking of beans I wonder what's for dinner? Right focus Bean! Cisco made more money – something about $2.49 billion which is a lot of trips to the launderette. They say the world is a bit wobbly (like my car after hitting a bump) but Cisco seems to be doing alright.

Scott's Off! Did He Trip Over a Bucket?

This chap called Scott is leaving. Retired they say. But I reckon he probably tripped over a bucket or got stuck in a lift. These things happen you know? Like the time I got my head stuck in a turkey. Mark's taking over which is good for Mark. I hope he doesn’t wear a tie that’s too tight. Can't breathe then.

Tariffs! Sounds Like a New Kind of Biscuit!

Apparently there are these things called tariffs. Sounds like a new type of biscuit doesn’t it? The blokes in suits are saying Trumpy ones are making things more difficult. More difficult than parking my Mini in a space clearly not big enough? We shall see. Cisco expects to continue doing well anyway which is good because I am looking forward to the next big thing they invent.

AI and a Load of Letters! Is That Like Aliens?

Cisco's getting lots of orders for something called AI. Not sure what that is maybe aliens are involved? They are using these new machines to do things and apparently Meta likes them. Something about Ethernet – which is probably like my electric toothbrush but for computers. They're moving away from 'InfiniBand' sounds like a really bad band name to me. Maybe Teddy would like it.

Splunk! Sounds Like a Comic Book POW!

They bought something called Splunk for lots of money! Sounds like a superhero’s catchphrase! And someone named Jeetu got a promotion. Good for him! Maybe he'll give me a discount on that new Webex thing. All in all Cisco's doing well and their shares are going up. Maybe I *should* buy some? No beans are still a safer bet. Ta ta for now!
