Eh, What's Up, Doc? Meta's Makin' Bank!

Well folks what's up doc? It's your ol' pal Bugs here reporting live from... uh... my rabbit hole! Seems ol' Meta that's the Facebook folks to you city slickers had a pretty good quarter. Like Elmer Fudd tryin' to catch me they exceeded expectations! They raked in $6.43 per share when everyone thought they'd only manage $5.28. And the revenue? A whopping $42.31 billion compared to the expected $41.40 billion. 'Sufferin' succotash,' as Sylvester the Cat would say that's a lotta carrots!

Future Forecast: Cloudy with a Chance of Carrots

Now hold on to your hats because the future's lookin' kinda cloudy. Meta thinks they'll pull in between $42.5 billion and $45.5 billion next quarter. The experts thought they'd hit $44.03 billion. And they're playin' with the numbers for 2025 lowerin' expense expectations to $113 to $118 billion but shoveling more money towards AI. What's all the hubbub bub?

AI: The Great Carrot Caper!

Seems Meta's going all in on AI! Like me with a carrot patch they're investing big time. They're boosting their capital expenditures to between $64 billion and $72 billion for 2025. That's to support their artificial intelligence efforts and the infrastructure it all needs. 'Of course you realize this means war!' on underperforming AI systems I reckon.

Europe's Got a Case of the Grumpies

But hold on a minute doc. It ain't all sunshine and carrots. Seems the European Commission's got a bone to pick with Meta's no ads subscription service. They think it ain't playin' by the rules and that could give European users a less than stellar experience. What a maroon! This could make a dent in Meta's European business and revenue. That’s not very sportsmanlike is it?
