Now before you get your mojo all worked up there was a bit of a kerfuffle with Uncle Sam. Seems they needed the thumbs up from this CFIUS committee to sell shares to Group 42 in the United Arab Emirates. But fear not baby! They got the green light. Groovy!
Nvidia? More Like 'Not vidia'!
Of course there's always a buzzkill and in this case it's Nvidia that big swinging GPU gorilla in the AI jungle. Cerebras is lookin' to give 'em a run for their money kinda like when I challenged Dr. Evil to a dance off. Yeah baby they wanna be the top dog – or should I say top chip!
Middle East Mayhem!
The Middle East is suddenly the place to be baby! Even Jensen Huang from Nvidia and that Donald Trump fella were hangin' out in Saudi Arabia probably talkin' about how to make AI more shagadelic. Apparently Nvidia is selling a boatload of chips to some Saudi company and Group 42 is ready to scoop up 100,000 GPUs. It's a whole lotta shagalicious spending!
Hyperscalers and Half Stories Oh My!
Andrew Feldman the CEO of Cerebras is playin' it coy sayin' he can only share half the story. Oh behave! He also mentioned they're gettin' cozy with another "hyperscaler," you know those big tech companies. But they're playin' hard to get. Talk about a frustrating seduction baby!
Cheaper and Faster Than GPT 4? Yeah Baby!
And here's the kicker: Cerebras claims their chips can run an Alibaba model faster and cheaper than OpenAI's GPT 4.1. That's right they're tryin' to out mojo the big boys. All in all it's a rather swingin' time to be in the AI chip game baby. Let's hope Cerebras can keep it groovy all the way to that IPO! Shagadelic!
