Apple in a Fruit Fight? Trump Wants iPhones Made in the USA, and That's All I Have to Say About That

Life is Like a Box of iPhones...

Mama always said 'Life is like a box of chocolates you never know what you're gonna get.' Well lately it feels more like a box of iPhones and folks are fightin' over where they're made! This Jim Cramer fella on that 'Squawk on the Street' show he's sayin' Apple might be in a pickle with President Trump wantin' them iPhones made right here in the good ol' US of A. And Mr. Trump seems mighty serious about it like a dog with a bone or me with a box of chocolates.

Run Forrest Run! To Build a Factory?

Seems like Apple's been movin' some iPhone makin' to India where those tariffs are lower than a snake's belly. Now President Trump he ain't too happy 'bout that. He wants Apple to build a big ol' plant right here even if it costs more than Jenny's bus ticket. He told Tim Cook the head honcho at Apple 'I don't want you building in India.' I guess Mr. Trump wants those iPhones to be as American as apple pie...or maybe shrimp and grits like Mama used to make.

Stupid is as Stupid Does...Move Factories?

Now some smarty pants folks are sayin' it's gonna be harder than findin' a needle in a haystack to make iPhones here. All the parts and stuff they mostly come from over in Asia. And makin' things here costs more money more than a whole lotta Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. boats! But like Mr. Cramer says the President don't seem to care 'bout the money. He just wants them phones made here like he wants America to be great again. And that's all I have to say about that.

We Were Always on the Run...From Tariffs?

Apple already said they're gonna invest a whole lotta money like 500 billion dollars right here in America. They're gonna build a factory in Texas to make them fancy AI servers. That's more money than I ever made catchin' shrimp! But it seems like that ain't enough to make President Trump happy. He's still got his eye on them iPhones like I had my eye on that ping pong ball.

And That's All I Have to Say About That...For Now!

So there you have it. Apple's in a bit of a pickle with President Trump. They gotta figure out how to make him happy maybe by makin' some iPhones right here. But it ain't gonna be easy like tryin' to teach a dog to play the harmonica. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. As Mama always said 'You're gonna have to do the best with what God gave you.' And right now Apple's gotta do the best with what President Trump's givin' 'em.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said 'Why do they have to be made in Taiwan and China? Why can't those be made with robotics in America?' I don't know Mr. Lutnick but maybe if we all believe in it it will happen! Like when I believed in running and I just ran and ran and ran.
