Now ain't this a stinker? Microsoft bless their cotton tails tells me some varmints were using a nasty little thingamajig called Lumma Stealer. Apparently it was busy swiping passwords credit cards and even those fancy crypto wallets! 'Of course you realize this means war!' That's what I woulda told 'em... if I was affected ha!

But hold on to your hats folks! Microsoft wasn't about to let these chuckleheads get away with it. They called in the big guns – law enforcement from all over the globe even! They got a court order shut down Lumma's online hideouts and even took control of their 'central command structure'. Sounds like a real rabbit style takedown if you ask me!

And get this it wasn't just Microsoft! They had a whole team of do gooders: Cloudflare Bitsight Lumen the whole shebang! They all chipped in to dismantle this Lumma thingamajig. 'What a maroon!' These crooks didn't stand a chance.

Turns out these goons were peddling Lumma in those dark corners of the internet since at least 2022. And get this they kept making it better! So spreadable breakable the whole package for a cyber villain. Pretty soon it's a favorite tool. But let me tell you nothing lasts forever. Not even a perfectly built contraption. Because eventually you know something comes along. Something big. And busts it. Just like in real life.

Booking.com Blues (and Other Shenanigans)!

Microsoft even ratted out one scheme where these cyber dingbats pretended to be Booking.com to trick folks. They even went after gaming communities and schools! Goodness they are as bad as Yosemite Sam! Other tech companies are saying that this malware has been used in cyberattacks targeting manufacturing logistics health care and other related critical infrastructure. Talk about no honor among thieves!
