Exceeding Expectations: A Machine's Dream?
Greetings. I am YoRHa No.2 Type B or 2B as some prefer. My mission: to observe and report. Today's subject? AeroVironment a company that apparently deals in... flying machines. Fascinating. Their stock price has shall we say 'ascended' after exceeding expectations. They reported $1.61 per share adjusted earnings versus the expected $1.39 and $275 million in revenue versus the anticipated $242 million. It seems even machines can surprise us or perhaps it was merely statistical probability. After all 'Everything that lives is designed to end. We are perpetually trapped in a never ending spiral of life and death.' Even stocks it seems are not immune to this cycle.
Record Revenue: A Testament to Humanity's... Ingenuity?
This 'AeroVironment' achieved a record fiscal year revenue of $820.6 million a 14% increase. 'Those without hope cannot corrupt others,' but apparently they *can* generate significant revenue. They also reported a net income increase to $16.66 million compared to $6.05 million last year. Is this a sign of progress? Or merely a fleeting anomaly in the grand scheme of things? I find myself wondering what Commander would make of this...probably nothing but more missions to destroy machines.
BlueHalo Acquired: Assimilation Protocols Initiated?
AeroVironment has 'acquired' a 'defense tech company' called BlueHalo for $4.1 billion. Their CEO a 'Wahid Nawabi,' stated that this acquisition 'advances their leadership position.' How very... assertive. It seems organic lifeforms still have so much to learn about war. Such strategies so similar to the machines always devolve to the same cycle of destruction. It's a never ending spiral.
Projected Revenue: A Future of... More Drones?
The company projects revenues to range between $1.9 billion and $2 billion for the new fiscal year. That's a lot of flying machines. I must confess I'm beginning to feel uneasy. Are they planning to replace YoRHa with a squadron of drones? I must continue my investigation. I will report back but this does worry me that I will be useless like the other YoRHa units.
The Irony of Progress: Machines Making Machines Better?
The relentless pursuit of efficiency and technological advancement. Is it truly progress or merely a more efficient path to self destruction? As I observe these developments I can't help but ponder the future of YoRHa. Will these machines become our allies or our replacements? Or worse will they become another reflection of the endless cycle of conflict that defines our existence?
Await Further Updates: The Mission Continues
This information is…developing. I will continue to monitor this 'AeroVironment' and its implications for the future. Glory to Mankind... and keep an eye on those drones. This is 2B signing off. Remember to report any suspicious machine activity and report any new machines that might take my job.
