Life is Like a Box of Stocks...
Mama always said "Life is like a box of chocolates Forrest. You never know what you're gonna get." Well Mr. Jim Cramer on that CNBC channel he says TJX that's T.J. Maxx Marshalls and HomeGoods is like one of them chocolates. They had a real good quarter like winning a ping pong tournament but the stock went down! Mr. Cramer says that ain't right. It's like winning the lottery and then finding out you gotta share it with Bubba.
Run Forrest Run... to the Bargain Bin!
This TJX they beat everyone’s expectations! It's like when I beat that Chinese fella at ping pong even though I didn’t even try. They made more money and sold more stuff than folks thought they would. But then the stock went down like Lieutenant Dan after a storm. Mr. Cramer he says don't worry about that. It's happened before like Jenny running away and then coming back. Eventually things even out.
Cutting Prices Like a Hot Knife Through Butter
Mr. Cramer says TJX is special because they can keep their prices low like me keeping my head down in Vietnam. Even when other stores gotta charge more because of them tariffs—those are like taxes on stuff coming from other countries—TJX can still find good deals. It’s like finding a whole case of Dr. Pepper on sale. You just gotta grab it you know?
Chaos is Opportunity Like Shrimp on the Bayou
The big boss at TJX Mr. Herrman he said there's chaos in retail. Chaos like when I was running across America and folks started following me. But for TJX chaos is good! They can buy stuff cheap and sell it cheap which makes folks happy. Mr. Herrman thinks that even with them tariffs they can still keep their prices low. Smart man that Mr. Herrman. But not as smart as Bubba.
JPMorgan Says 'Buy Forrest Buy!'
Some fella at JPMorgan Mr. Boss he thinks TJX stock is gonna go up even more. He's like that Lieutenant Dan always pushing me to do better. He says TJX is gonna keep selling more stuff and making more money. He even said the company has a bunch of extra stuff to buy which means even better deals for us folks who like to shop. It's like finding a whole bunch of lost golf balls just waiting to be hit.
And That's All I Have to Say About That
So Mr. Cramer he thinks TJX is a good deal. It's like when I invested in that apple company. I didn't know what I was doing but it turned out pretty good. Mr. Herrman says the second quarter is already off to a strong start. Maybe it's time to buy some TJX stock. Just remember what Mama said “Stupid is as stupid does.” And buying bargains? Well that ain't stupid.
