Constellation Brands the big shots behind my favorite fizzy refreshments (Modelo Corona Pacifico ya know the good stuff!) just announced their beer sales have taken a nosedive! A whole 2% drop! Can you believe it? Two percent! That's like losing two whole feathers off my tail!

Trump's Policies: Making Everyone Quack with Worry!

The big cheese at Constellation Bill Newlands is blaming it on… *gulp*… President Trump's deportation policies. Apparently our amigos down south are tightening their belts faster than I do when Daisy's serving spinach soufflé. They're worried about getting the boot and losing their jobs! “Oh boy oh boy oh boy!” This is worse than when Huey Dewey and Louie try to "help" me with the laundry!

ICE Raids: A Real Buzzkill!

And it gets worse! These ICE raids are spooking everyone! Mr. Newlands admitted it's tough to predict what folks will do when they're living in fear. I say give 'em a break! When you're worried about getting snatched up the last thing on your mind is cracking open a cold one! It's enough to make a duck swear off root beer... almost!

Now it's not just deportations. Mr. Newlands also mentioned inflation! Everyone Hispanic or not is feeling the pinch! Higher prices mean less moolah for… well everything! Even duck food is getting expensive! What's a duck to do? "This is the END! I'm ruined RUINED!"

Latinos: A Big Piece of the Piñata!

Constellation says that about half of their beer sales come from our Latino amigos in the USA! That's a lot of pesos! So when they're not buying it hits the company harder than Gladstone Gander hitting the jackpot! And speaking of hitting Trump's tariffs on aluminum aren't helping either! Higher aluminum costs mean more expensive beer! It's a vicious cycle I tell ya!

Don't Panic Yet!

But hold your horses! Constellation is still optimistic! They're sticking to their financial goals for the year. They think they can weather this storm. Well I hope they're right! Because if my favorite brew goes up in price I'm gonna… I'm gonna… uh… write a strongly worded letter! And maybe just maybe I'll finally learn to control my temper! But don't bet on it! Aw phooey!
