Oh boy oh boy oh boy! This just in from the ol' U.S. House of Representatives! They were up all night squawking like a bunch of hens trying to pass President Trump's MEGA BILL! Can you believe it? All this fuss over some papers and numbers! I tell ya sometimes I feel like I'm living in a cartoon!

Backroom Deals and Trump's Phone Frenzy

Apparently some of those Republicans were being real stubborn like ol' Gladstone Gander always hogging all the luck! But then Speaker Mike Johnson got on the case and even President Trump got on the phone saying things like and I quote 'FOR REPUBLICANS THIS SHOULD BE AN EASY YES VOTE. RIDICULOUS!!!' Now that's what I call a 'quack up!' Looks like someone needs to learn how to count HA!

Squeaking By! Just Like My Car!

And get this the bill only *squeaked* by the upper chamber! Just like my ol' jalopy when I try to start it on a cold morning! Even Vice President JD Vance had to cast the tie breaking vote. Talk about a close shave! I almost had a heart attack and you know how dramatic I can be! 'What's the big idea?!'

Big and Beautiful... or a Big Big Mess?

This 'big beautiful' bill as the Prez calls it extends some tax cuts but also cuts some social safety nets and messes with renewable energy. Sounds like a real 'hooey' to me! I'm not sure if it's a jackpot or a can of worms! What's a duck to do?

Democrats Duck Out in Disgust

Those Democrats are fit to be tied! They're saying this bill only helps the rich folks like Scrooge McDuck swimming in his money bin! Representative Gabe Amo even said the top 1% could get an extra $300,000 a year! Holy Toledo! And apparently 17 million Americans could lose their health insurance. Now that's just not right! Not right at all!

Debt Dilemma: Are We Sinking?

And here's the real kicker: The Congressional Budget Office says this bill could add $3.4 TRILLION to our already HUGE debt! Oh this is worse than when I owe Daisy money! The White House is calling them names but still... I'm no economist but even *I* know that doesn't sound good! Time to start saving those bottle caps!
