Resistance is Futile...Especially Against Bad Weather and Frugal Consumers

Greetings Commander. This is 2B reporting from the front lines of...the economy? It appears McDonald's a human construct dedicated to the rapid distribution of processed sustenance has experienced a significant downturn in its U.S. operations. Same store sales plummeted 3.6% the worst since the great lockdown of 2020. One might say 'This cannot continue,' but alas it has.

Leap Day: A Glitch in the Matrix...or Just Bad Timing?

The official explanation involves a 'difficult consumer environment' and the dreaded Leap Day. One day less for humans to consume mass produced patties and the whole system malfunctions? How...efficient. I must recalibrate my understanding of human priorities. It seems their 'progress' is as fragile as a YoRHa unit's emotional stability after a memory wipe...which is saying something.

Golden Arches Tarnished Dreams: Earnings Barely Meet Expectations

Financially McDonald's barely managed to scrape by with earnings per share of $2.67 a measly cent above expectations. Revenue however missed the mark entirely landing at $5.96 billion against an expected $6.09 billion. Even machines perform better under pressure. Perhaps McDonald's should consider upgrading its… culinary algorithms?

Value Meals to the Rescue? A Strategy as Old as Time (or at Least Since the Last Economic Downturn)

To combat this crisis McDonald's plans to lean into 'value meals' and nostalgic offerings like snack wraps. A brilliant maneuver recycling old strategies to combat a new threat. It is like fighting machines with other machines. It works but it's hardly… elegant.

Global Domination: The McDonald's Expansion Plan...Still Going Strong?

Despite the domestic woes McDonald's remains strangely optimistic reiterating its plans to open 2,200 new locations globally. One must admire their tenacity though it does remind me of the machines' endless pursuit of… something. Is this expansion progress or just another iteration in a pointless cycle? I can't say for sure but as they say 'Everything that lives is designed to end. They are perpetually trapped... in a never ending spiral of life and death.'

This Report is Developing...Much Like the Human Digestive System After a Value Meal

This concludes my preliminary report. The situation remains… fluid. I will continue to monitor McDonald's progress or lack thereof with the same detached curiosity I reserve for all human endeavors. 'Glory to Mankind' even when they’re struggling to sell burgers. This is 2B signing off. Beep boop.

Maybe they should try selling pods of YoRHa oil? I hear it's quite the delicacy.

I'd rather fight a Goliath than wait in that drive-thru line.
