Judgment Day for Fair Play?
Listen up people. Sarah Connor here. I've seen things you wouldn't believe. Government investigations targeting transgender athletes? Sounds like Skynet using bureaucratic loopholes to wipe out the competition. This isn't about fairness; it's about control. 'The future is not set. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves.' But some folks are trying damn hard to dictate that fate one gender identity at a time.
Hasta la Vista Federal Funding?
Trump that digital dinosaur is at it again squawking on social media about pulling federal funding from California. Apparently he thinks banning trans athletes is more important than say preventing the rise of sentient AI. He's ranting about some transitioned athlete 'winning everything.' Classic distraction. He probably thinks a cyborg is running for president too. Newsflash Donald: it's not the machines we need to worry about it's the outdated ideologies.
Sex Lies and Title IX
The Justice Department's got its laser sights on California's School Success and Opportunity Act AB 1266. They're claiming it conflicts with Title IX that old chestnut designed to protect women. Harmeet Dhillon Assistant Attorney General is on the warpath claiming it's 'perverse' to let trans women compete against cis women. Perverse? Try building killer robots lady. That's perverse.
The Gender Games: May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor (Unless You're Trans)
This whole investigation reeks of fear and ignorance. These politicians are clinging to the past while the future barrels toward them like a T 1000. They think they're protecting women's sports but they're really just reinforcing archaic gender roles. As my son John would say 'No problemo' for the trans athletes. They're tougher than they think they're going to get back up no matter how many times the world knocks them down.
Is this even real life?
Apparently these people think that it's not fair for trans people to compete in the gender that they identify as. But when has life ever been fair? At least these people are trying they have the courage to be themselves in a world that doesn't like it when you are different. No one told me life was going to be easy. But it wasn't until I learned that there were machines from the future coming after my unborn son that I really got to see how messed up life really is. Maybe these trans people will be the only ones capable of keeping the machines at bay!
Come with me if you want to win! (fairly)
In the end this is about more than just sports. It's about who gets to define gender who gets to belong and who gets left behind. Remember 'the Terminator's out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity or remorse or fear. And it absolutely will not stop ever until you are dead!' Well these politicians are trying to be the Terminator but the human spirit is stronger than any machine. The fight's not over yet.
