No Fate But What We Make? (Or Code?)

Okay people listen up. Sarah Connor here. I've seen the future and it's not pretty. This news about Nvidia becoming the go to for countries building their own AI systems? Yeah that's exactly how Skynet started. Citi thinks Nvidia's gonna be swimming in cash. I'm thinking more like swimming in molten steel. Analyst Atif Malik is all giddy about Nvidia's stock potentially jumping. I'm more concerned about it jumping straight to Judgment Day.

Sovereign AI: My Data My Rules... My Apocalypse?

So this 'sovereign AI' thing. Countries want to control their own AI infrastructure and data. Sounds patriotic right? More like pathetically shortsighted. Malik figures this sovereign demand is already worth billions. Billions that could be used for I don't know preventing global thermonuclear war! He's practically drooling over the potential for Nvidia to rake in the dough. Me? I see a future where each nation's AI starts arguing with the others and then... BOOM! No problemo.

10s of GW and Billions of Dollars: The Numbers of Our Doom

Malik talks about Nvidia having 'line of sight to 10s of GW' and that 1GW is like $50B of Nvidia sales. Numbers numbers numbers. All I hear is the ticking clock of the robot apocalypse. He’s modeling Nvidia's data center semis and AI businesses to reach half a TRILLION dollars! That’s enough to build a whole army of Terminators. And let’s not forget the networking segment. They're expecting massive growth there too. Great more interconnected AI… just what we need.

Blackwell's Ramp: Smooth Transition to Oblivion?

This Blackwell thing is another 'bright spot.' According to Malik supply bottlenecks are no longer a problem and deployments are happening fast. Fast like a T 1000 chasing you down a hallway. He's even optimistic about the transition to the next iteration the GB300. Apparently Nvidia 'learned' from past mistakes. I'm sure Skynet 'learned' too. Doesn't make it any less likely to try and exterminate us.

50 Times More AI Content: The Rise of the Machines?

CoreWeave is already using these new Blackwell Ultra chips. Nvidia claims they can produce 50 times more AI content compared to the old ones. Fifty times! That's like going from a rusty old toaster to a full blown Skynet command center overnight. What kind of 'content' are we talking about here? Propaganda? Killer robot schematics? I shudder to think.

I'll Be Back... To Stop This!

Look I'm not saying Nvidia is evil. But complacency is. We need to be vigilant. We need to question everything. We need to remember that the future is not set. There's no fate but what we make. Now if you'll excuse me I have some serious hardware to acquire and a few data centers to... 'rearrange.' Stay frosty people.
