Don't Have a Cow Man! Protests Erupt!

Alright dudes and dudettes! Bart Simpson here reporting live from... well my couch but I've been *following* the news. Turns out a whole bunch of people – like a *monumental* amount – are majorly steamed at President Trump and that Elon Musk guy. You know the one who thinks he can turn the government into some kinda soulless robot? They had these 'Hands Off!' rallies all over the place protesting everything from firing federal workers to messing with Social Security. I gotta say even *I* think messing with people's retirement is a major wedgie!

D'oh! What are they doing with Social Security?

So get this: these protesters are yelling about Trump and Musk downsizing the government and messing with stuff like Social Security. Apparently Musk is now head of some 'Department of Government Efficiency' – or DOGE as they call it. Sounds like something Milhouse would name if you ask me. Anyway people are worried that these guys are cutting essential services and don't care about the little guy. This Paul Osadebe dude even said billionaires only care about profit. No duh! I could've told you that. But the real question is...will these cuts affect my allowance? Eek!

Massachusetts Madness and Ohio Outrage

It wasn't just one place either it was all over! In Massachusetts people held signs saying 'Hands off our democracy!' Sounds pretty serious even for a prankster like me. And in Ohio even in the rain folks were rallying at the Statehouse saying Trump is tearing the country apart. One old guy even said he used to be a Republican but now he's had enough! Talk about a major flip flop! It's like Principal Skinner suddenly started wearing shorts and skateboarding. Weird right?

Florida Fury and the Golfing Prez

Even in Florida near Trump's golf course people were letting him know what's what. They were yelling slogans and waving signs while Trump was busy hitting golf balls. Archer Moran from Port St. Lucie said 'They need to keep their hands off of our Social Security.' Word! Sounds like people are fed up with politicians who only care about themselves. It's like when Mr. Burns tries to steal candy from Maggie. Totally uncool!

White House Whines Back

Of course the White House had to put out some official sounding statement saying Trump will protect Social Security blah blah blah. They also tried to blame the Democrats for wanting to give benefits to illegal aliens. Classic! Always gotta point the finger somewhere else right? It's like when I blame Milhouse for my pranks... even though he's usually just standing there drooling. I didn't do it!

Will This Movement Make History?

So will these protests actually change anything? Who knows? They haven't been as huge as those Women's March or Black Lives Matter rallies. But hey even a small spark can start a big fire right?
