There's a big squabble brewing bigger than when Pete tries to steal my picnic basket! Eli Lilly the big cheese in the medicine business is suing Strive Pharmacy and Empower Pharmacy. Why you ask? Because they're makin' their own versions of Zepbound and Mounjaro those fancy weight loss and diabetes drugs! And Lilly's sayin' 'Oh no you DON'T!' WA HA HA HAAA! This is gettin' good!

Personalized Medicine or Just a Big Patooey?

Lilly claims these pharmacies are trickin' folks into thinkin' their stuff is special like gettin' a custom made sailor suit but really it's just mass produced hocus pocus! They say these pharmacies are usin' fancy words to make their versions sound better than the real deal. They're even accusin' them of cuttin' corners on safety! That's lower than stealin' Huey Dewey and Louie's candy! Empower Pharmacy is fightin' back sayin' they're just tryin' to help people with personalized medicine. Strive Pharmacy is callin' Lilly a big bully sayin' they're just protectin' their own quack quack QUACKERS! I mean profits!

The FDA's Got Their Feathers Ruffled!

Now the FDA that's the Food and Drug Administration for you landlubbers has a say in all this. They said compounding pharmacies shouldn't be makin' these drugs anymore because there wasn't a shortage. But some pharmacies kept on twistin' and turnin' the formulas like I try to twist and turn outta paying my bills to Uncle Scrooge! Lilly's sayin' they're just makin' copies not personalizin' anything. It's a real brouhaha I tell ya!

Telehealth Tussle!

These pharmacies are also supplyin' these drugs to telehealth sites like Lavender Sky Health and Mochi Health. Mochi says they ain't worried but Lavender Sky is stayin' quiet.
