The Crown Shifts North
So the Economist Intelligence Unit thinks they've figured out the best places to live eh? Like they know a damn thing about surviving. They ranked 173 cities judging them on things like stability healthcare and bloody culture. Sounds like a right load of baloney to me but alright. Apparently Copenhagen's nabbed the top spot pushing Vienna off its throne after three years. They gave it a 98.0 overall. Perfect scores for stability education and infrastructure. 'Course anyone can look good on paper but let's see how they handle a proper scrap.
By Order of the Livability Index
They say Copenhagen did it 'cause of its culture and environment. Bars restaurants sporting events... Sounds like a distraction from the real game. 'You can change what you do but you can't change what you want.' Me I want power. This Nicholls bird from EIU says Western Europe's doing alright except for education where North America somehow pulls ahead. Figures. Always got to have a bloody Yankee trying to one up you.
Stateside Blues
The Yanks didn't even crack the top 20. High crime rates unstable social lives and shoddy infrastructure they claim. Honolulu Hawaii comes in at number 23. One thing I know about Americans 'sometimes death is a kindness'. Maybe they need a little less 'freedom' and a bit more order. Maybe I should go help sort them out.
Infrastructure: A Blinder's Foundation
Nicholls says the U.S. could learn a thing or two about investing in infrastructure. Well no bloody duh. Can't build an empire on promises and hot air now can you? You need solid ground under your feet a foundation that won't crumble when the stakes get high. Just like my businesses gotta invest to protect it and see it thrive.
Bomb Threats and Taylor Swift
Apparently Vienna took a hit because of a bomb threat at a Taylor Swift concert and some planned attack on a train station. A bomb threat. Sounds like someone's trying to send a message. 'Everyone's a whore Grace. We just sell different parts of ourselves.' Maybe Vienna needs to toughen up. A little chaos never hurt anyone… well almost anyone.
The Peaky Blinder's Verdict
So Copenhagen's on top. Vienna's slipping. The U.S. is a mess. What does it all mean? Means someone's always trying to take what's yours. Means you gotta be ready to fight for it. 'Whiskey's good proofing water. Tells you who's real and who isn't.' This list is just figures and opinions. The real livability that's measured in loyalty grit and a willingness to do what needs to be done. And you can't put a bloody number on that.
