Holy Spidey Sense! CIA HQ Shooting and a DC Tragedy - Coincidence? I Think NOT!

My Spidey Sense is Tingling... Again!

Alright web heads Spider Man here your friendly neighborhood reporter! Things have been… well let's just say my Spidey Sense has been doing the tango all morning. Turns out there was some action going down over at CIA headquarters in Langley. Yeah you heard right. Apparently some poor sap got shot by the guards. Non fatal thankfully! But still a shooting at the CIA? That's like finding a pigeon wearing a tiny fedora – unexpected and just a little bit weird.

Double Trouble: A Museum Tragedy!

But wait there's more! And this is where things get even stickier than my webbing after a run in with Electro. Just hours before the CIA incident two Israeli Embassy staffers were shot and killed outside the Capital Jewish Museum in DC. Yikes! Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim. My heart goes out to their families. Officials are saying there's no connection between these two events. No connection? Really? I’m not buying it. Remember what Uncle Ben always said 'With great power comes great responsibility?' Well with two shootings so close together someone needs to do some investigating.

CIA's Lips are Sealed Tighter Than Vulture's Grip!

So what's the CIA saying about all this? Not much folks not much at all. A spokesperson told CNBC that there was a "security incident" and that the main gate is closed. Real helpful guys. Real helpful. They're playing it cooler than Iceman on a winter vacation. They declined to give any more details and Fairfax County Police are just directing traffic. That’s all folks nothing to see here. Move along. Well if no one is going to investigate I guess someone’s gotta do it.

Road Closures and Conspiracy Theories!

The good news (for your commute at least) is that there aren't any road closures. But let's be honest the lack of information is practically begging for conspiracy theories to start popping up like Green Goblin's pumpkin bombs. Are these events connected? Is it just a crazy coincidence? Is Mysterio messing with us again? My gut (and my Spidey Sense) is telling me there's more to this story than meets the eye.
