So Deutsche Bank – sounds like a villain from a Bond movie right? – just downgraded General Motors. Apparently all these new tariffs are giving them a real headache. And believe me I know about headaches. Especially after fighting Doc Ock. Oof those tentacles!

Tariffs? More Like Terrifying iffs!

This analyst Edison Yu (not to be confused with Mysterio's smoke and mirrors) says these tariffs could be a 'structural challenge' for GM. Basically if they want to build cars here it's gonna cost 'em. Like a lot. And if they try to automate everything with robots the unions might get angry. It's like trying to balance a symbiote on a unicycle – messy!

Steel Yourself for Higher Prices!

Commodities costs are also going up especially steel and aluminum – those materials are crucial for building vehicles and are now subject to a hefty 25% tariff. Steel prices are soaring like me when I forget to web sling near the Empire State Building. Ouch! GM's got some contracts locked in but a chunk of their supply is based on current prices. That means more dough out the door. 'With great power comes great responsibility'... and higher prices apparently.

But don't worry not all hope is lost! This same analyst is still bullish on Tesla. Thinks they could jump a whopping 37%! He calls them an 'embodied AI secular winner.' Sounds like something Tony Stark would build. Maybe I should invest… if I had any money. Web slinging doesn't exactly pay the bills ya know.
