Boeing's deliveries are up, but cancellations and Airbus are still looming – your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man investigates!

Up Up and Away... Kinda?

Alright web heads your friendly neighborhood Spider Man here with the lowdown on Boeing! Turns out they managed to sling 44 aircraft into the sky in February. Not bad right? Especially when you consider they only managed 27 last year. It's like going from a Green Goblin glider to... well a slightly less rickety Green Goblin glider. Baby steps people baby steps! They almost beat January's deliveries of 45 units. Talk about a nail biter I was on the edge of my web waiting for the final figures!

737 MAX: More Like 737 Maybe?

The real MVP here is the 737 MAX clocking in at 32 deliveries. Five 787 widebody planes got delivered too. I mean Wall Street is all over these delivery numbers because cha ching! That's when Boeing gets the big bucks! Deliveries are important you know? It pays for all the research and development to make new planes like the ones I saw in that one Iron Man movie that one time! Stark industries sure does know how to make cool flying machines!

Order Up! (And Then... Canceled?)

Now here's where things get a little tangled like my web shooters after a fight with Electro. Boeing booked 13 new orders all for the 737 MAX. But wait for it... they also had eight cancellations. So net total? A measly five orders. Five! That's like ordering a pizza and only getting five slices. Who does that?! And get this BOC Aviation ordered five MAX planes which they're planning to lease to Arajet. But Arajet *canceled* their order for five MAXs. It's like a plane rental version of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' Everything's made up and the points don't matter!

Cargo Blues

Adding insult to injury Western Global Airlines a Florida based cargo carrier bailed on orders for two 777 freighters. Ouch! That's gotta sting. You know reminds me of the time I tried to deliver Aunt May's birthday cake across town. Let's just say gravity's a real supervillain sometimes.

Airbus: The Friendly Competition?

And just when you thought things couldn't get more complicated let's swing over to Europe. Through the first two months of the year Boeing landed 41 net orders. Not terrible right? But hold on to your web shooters because Airbus snagged a whopping 65! Looks like the 'friendly competition' is more like a web slinging showdown! This just goes to show with great power comes great responsibility... to deliver more planes apparently!

My Spidey Sense Says...

So what's the takeaway here folks? Boeing's making a comeback but they've still got some turbulence to navigate. They need to keep those orders coming and maybe invest in some better PR. You know I'm available for endorsements! 'Spider Man: He flies... in planes made by someone else!' Has a ring to it right? Anyway that's all for now true believers! Stay safe and remember with great power comes great... well you know the rest.
