Up Up and Away... With Deliveries!

Alright web heads Spidey here with the lowdown on Boeing. Turns out they've been busy! They managed to sling 44 aircraft out the door in February. That's a serious upgrade from last year's 27. I gotta say even I'm impressed! It seems they're finally getting those 737 MAX and 787 models off the ground... literally! Just a hair behind January but hey nobody's perfect right? Except maybe me... when I'm not tripping over my own feet that is. Remember with great power comes great responsibility... and also occasional clumsiness.

MAXimum Effort! (Get It?)

The big news is those 737 MAX jets. Thirty two of 'em went zooming off to new homes. Plus five 787 widebodies joined the party. Now you know Wall Street's all over this 'cause that's when Boeing cashes in. It's like when I finally get paid for those Daily Bugle photos... except J. Jonah Jameson always tries to stiff me. Seriously the guy makes Scrooge McDuck look generous!

Order Up! Or... Order Canceled?

Okay things get a little tangled here. Boeing snagged 13 new orders all for 737 MAXs. But then... bam! Eight cancellations. So the net total? A measly five. It's like trying to catch a criminal webbing him up and then realizing you webbed up the wrong guy! Awkward. Apparently BOC Aviation over in Singapore is leasing some MAX planes to Arajet in the Dominican Republic who then canceled their own order of five. It's a whole airplane soap opera!

Farewell Freighters!

And get this Western Global Airlines a cargo carrier from Florida bailed on orders for two 777 freighters. Maybe they decided to stick with delivering packages via pigeons? Who knows! Point is cancellations happen. It's like when I order a pizza and then remember I'm on a superhero diet... mostly.

Boeing vs. Airbus: The Aviation Avengers!

So where does this leave Boeing in the grand scheme of things? Well they've booked 41 net orders in the first two months of the year. Not bad but their European rival Airbus has them beat with 65 net orders. It's like the Avengers: always a bit of a competition between who can save the most civilians right? Still Boeing's not out of the game yet! They're still swinging for the fences!

My Spidey Sense Says...

Alright true believers that's the story on Boeing. They're making progress but they still have a ways to go. My Spidey sense tells me things are gonna get interesting! Keep your eyes peeled and remember with great deliveries comes great responsibility... to keep those planes safe! This is your friendly neighborhood Spider Man signing off!
