Finish Him... With Quantum!

Greetings Earthrealm! Scorpion here reporting live from the fiery pits of… well actually from Nvidia's GTC Paris! Seems like Jensen Huang the big kahuna over there is changing his tune about quantum computing. He used to think we were centuries away from making these things useful but now he's saying they might be solving problems sooner than you can say 'Get over here!'

Test Your Might... Against Complexity

For those of you who aren't tech wizards quantum computers are like classical computers on steroids and a whole lot of exotic herbs. They use 'qubits' instead of regular bits which means they can process way more data than your average desktop. Imagine trying to calculate the exact number of times I've yelled 'Get over here!' that's the kind of power we're talking about.

Flawless Victory... For Investors?

Of course where there's power there's money. Companies like Rigetti and IonQ are making a killing in the quantum space. IonQ even snagged Oxford Ionics for a cool $1.1 billion! Makes me wonder if I can invest in a new hellfire generator with those kinds of gains. Looks like their stocks got a nice boost too. Maybe I should trade in my spear for a stock ticker… nah.

Toasty!... To the Competition

Huang has been hobnobbing with quantum companies in Europe including some French startup called Pasqal. He's pretty impressed with the quantum scene over there which means the race to dominate the quantum realm is heating up faster than my fists after a good fight. Prepare yourselves!

Fatality!... To Old Timelines

Remember when Huang said we were 15 20 years away from useful quantum computers? Turns out he might have spoken too soon. His words caused quite the market quake back then with quantum stocks taking a nosedive faster than I do when I'm teleporting. He's since walked back those comments admitting he might have gotten it wrong. Happens to the best of us... except Sub Zero. He's always wrong.

Who's Next?... To Crack the Code?

Google is also getting in on the action with their new quantum chip Willow boasting major breakthroughs in error correction. It seems everyone is trying to unlock the secrets of the quantum realm. Me? I'm just waiting for someone to invent a quantum teleporter so I can finally win that argument with Raiden about who has the better special move. Get over here... to the future!
