Better Call Saul… for a Prison Break!
Folks Saul Goodman here your favorite attorney at law with a nose for trouble and a knack for… let's just say 'creative solutions.' I've got my ear to the ground and the word on the street is that ex President Trump is kicking around the idea of deporting US citizens. Yeah you heard right. Deporting AMERICANS! Seems like something out of a B movie but hey stranger things have happened right? Especially when you're dealing with the ahem 'colorful' world of politics. It's like he always says "I alone can fix it!" well let's see about that. His spokesperson Karoline Leavitt she's saying it's just a 'legal question' they're 'looking into.' Translation? They're poking around to see if they can bend the rules without snapping them in half. You know the old 'Better Call Saul' approach... except I’m not sure even I could make this one fly. And believe me I've gotten clients out of stickier situations than this!
From Albuquerque to El Salvador: A One Way Ticket?
Now the idea as I understand it is to send the 'most violent egregious repeat offenders' to prisons in Central America. Specifically El Salvador. Think of it: Albuquerque's finest finding themselves in... well a less than five star correctional facility. I mean I've seen some rough holding cells in my day but this sounds like a whole different ball game. And it seems they have already deported a bunch of 'alleged foreign citizen gang members' to El Salvador. Look everyone deserves a fair shake! The US justice system is not always fair.
Meet Kilmar: The Deported Dude Who Won't Go Home
And then there's this Kilmar Abrego Garcia fella. Seems he got deported to El Salvador thanks to an 'administrative error.' An administrative error? That's lawyer speak for 'oops we messed up big time!' Now the US wants El Salvador to send him back but their president Nayib Bukele isn't playing ball. It's a real 'Heisenberg' situation; everyone wants something from someone else and nobody's willing to budge. Mr. Bukele won't release him! He's just another pawn in this high stakes game of international chess. The US says he's a member of MS 13 but his lawyers say otherwise. Who to believe? That's what keeps guys like me in business folks.
Supreme Court Says 'Bring Him Back!' (Maybe)
The Supreme Court even got involved! They told the Trump administration to help Kilmar get back to the US. Now that's a plot twist I didn't see coming! Usually they're not so keen on helping guys who allegedly have ties to… well let’s just say 'unsavory elements.' This case is a real rollercoaster and I’m just trying to keep my barf bag handy.
Is This Even Legal? Don't Get Got!
So can Trump actually deport US citizens? That's the million dollar question isn't it? And you know what I always say: "If you're committed enough you can make any story work. I once convinced a jury that a dog ate my client's homework... twice!" But in reality: The Constitution is a tricky beast and it doesn't exactly give the president carte blanche to ship folks off to foreign lands. It sounds like a major legal hurdle and believe me I know hurdles. I practically invented them.
Saul's Final Verdict: Get a Good Lawyer!
Here's my professional opinion: if you're a 'violent egregious repeat offender' with a pulse and a mailing address in the USA you might want to start shopping around for a REALLY good lawyer. Like 'Saul Goodman' good. Because whether this whole deportation thing is legal or not it's going to be a bumpy ride. And remember folks justice is for sale!

Good thing I'm not a 'repeat offender' or I might be worried!
