Not This S*** Again!

Alright listen up people. Sarah Connor here back from the future (again) to warn you about the impending doom but this time it's not just about Terminators. It's about Zuckerberg and that Oculus punk Palmer Luckey. Remember him? Sold his soul… I mean startup… to Facebook for billions. Now they're joining forces to give the U.S. Army VR headsets. Because what our soldiers REALLY need is to be even MORE detached from reality. Great. Just great.

Zuckerberg's New Toy: The Military Industrial Metaverse

So Zuckerberg fresh off his apology tour after Trump 2.0 (I told you so!) is buddying up with the military. Suddenly content moderation is 'relaxed,' and AI models are being handed out like candy to anyone 'working on defense.' Right. Because giving Skynet 2.0 to the Pentagon is totally going to end well. I've seen this movie before and trust me the sequel sucks even worse.

Luckey's Back: This Time It's Personal (and Profitable)

And then there's Palmer Luckey. Remember when he said he "got fired" from Facebook? Yeah well now he's back partnering with the same company that allegedly stabbed him in the back. Must be a LOT of money on the table for him to team up with them again what a sucker! Maybe he thinks he can control the machines this time. Newsflash kid: the machines control YOU.

EagleEye: Because Seeing Isn't Believing Anymore

They're calling it 'EagleEye,' this VR system that enhances soldiers' hearing and vision. Right because our soldiers don't have enough going on already. Let's just overload their senses with fake realities and AI generated threats. What could possibly go wrong? Maybe they'll start seeing Terminators where there aren't any. Oh wait that's my job.

Saving Billions? Or Just Ushering in the Apocalypse?

They claim this partnership will save the military 'billions of dollars.' Sure because the cost of human lives and the potential for Skynet rising is totally worth a few billion in savings. I'm starting to think the T 800 was less of a threat than these tech bros in Silicon Valley. At least the Terminator was honest about wanting to kill us.

I'll Be Back... to Stop This

So here we are. Meta and Anduril building VR for the Army with the promise of national security and cost savings. But all I see is another step closer to Judgment Day. Believe me I've seen the future. And it doesn't involve Zuck handing out virtual guns. I'll be back. To stop this. Because the future is not yet written. No fate but what we make for ourselves. And I'm not letting these tech jerks write a future where machines rule us all. Hasta la vista baby... to this dangerous partnership!
