The Machines Are Renovating!

Alright listen up people. Sarah Connor here. I thought I'd seen it all. Terminators Judgment Day the rise of the machines... But now? Now they're renovating. Elon Musk bless his chaotic heart is questioning the Federal Reserve's plans to drop $2.5 BILLION on renovating their building. Two point five BILLION! What are they installing a self aware AI in the HVAC system? Because that's how it STARTS people! First it's energy efficiency then it's world domination. I've seen this movie before.

Hasta La Vista Baby... To Your Tax Dollars?

Musk through his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE – seriously? Even I think that's on the nose) is sniffing around claiming to have saved taxpayers $160 billion. Good for him. But this Fed renovation? He calls it an 'eyebrow raiser.' I call it a potential Skynet incubator. He wants to see pictures of what that kind of money buys. I want to see the schematic for the building's security system make sure there are no neural net processors learning at a geometric rate.

The Price of Progress (Or the Cost of a Terminator Proof Lobby)

The Fed claims it's all about upgrades codes regulations and efficiency. They say consolidating staff will save money and provide a 'modern efficient workspace.' Modern? Efficient? Sounds like Terminator buzzwords to me. Remember Cyberdyne? They were just trying to make the world a better place... with killer robots.

No Money No Fate

Here's the kicker: The Fed isn't directly funded by taxpayers. It's funded by interest and bank fees. But Musk points out that at the end of the day we need to be able to see where all the money is going. I agree there is no fate but what we make and also what the heck are they spending all that money on! Is it going to the interior designer of a T 1000?

Rising Interest Rates? Try Rising Robot Armies

Apparently the Fed is losing money due to rising interest rates. So they're renovating a building while bleeding cash? Makes perfect sense... if you're a machine trying to destabilize the economy before launching your attack. Look I'm just saying maybe they should prioritize or maybe cut spending somewhere? I'm not saying I'm just saying.

I'll Be Back... With a Wrench

The Fed officials declined to comment? Of course they did. What are they going to say? 'We're building a Terminator factory in the basement?' Look maybe I'm paranoid. Maybe I'm seeing Terminators behind every shiny new office building. But I've learned one thing: you gotta fight for your future. And sometimes that means questioning a $2.5 billion renovation. Because the future is not set. There's no fate but what we make for the federal reserve. And I will be back... to make sure those renovations don't involve any learning computers.

I bet they're installing voice recognition software. That's always a bad idea.

So, nobody is going to comment on the Department of Government Efficiency being called DOGE?!
