To Valhalla or to Austin? That is the Question!
Hark my shield brothers and shield maidens! Ragnar Lothbrok speaks! I have heard whispers on the wind – whispers of metal beasts that carry men without reins or whips. They call them 'robotaxis,' forged by the cunning mind of a man called Elon of the tribe Tesla. Benchmark Equity Research who I assume are wise men of their village say it is time to wager all our gold on these metal chariots. They say Tesla's new path is like finding England all over again! But this time we raid with algorithms not longships. A strange world indeed… But a Viking must adapt eh?
Controlled Rollout? Sounds like a Shield Wall to Me!
These Tesla folk have launched their robotaxis in a place called Austin Texas a location as foreign to me as Paris once was! They allow only a few to ride at first calling it a 'controlled rollout.' Sounds like a shield wall formation to me! Cautious yes but I Ragnar know that sometimes you must test the waters before you sail across the North Sea. This 'safety first approach,' as they call it is like checking the mead before a feast – you don't want to poison the whole hall do you?
Tesla vs. Waymo: A Battle of the Shiny Metal Beasts!
There is talk of another tribe Waymo who also build these metal beasts. The wise men at Benchmark say Tesla's beasts are better cheaper to build than Waymo's six figure contraptions. They use 'cameras,' which I suppose are like the eyes of Odin seeing all. Waymo may have been first to the feast but Tesla brings more meat. This reminds me of the battle against King Aelle! He thought he had the advantage but a clever Viking always finds a way. Remember 'Power is only given to those who dare to lower themselves and pick it up.'
Fresh Powder? Sounds Like a Good Raid!
They speak of Tesla having 'fresh powder,' which I assume is not for starting fires but for funding their conquests. It is good. A Viking needs gold to build ships and pay warriors and a company needs 'free cash flow' to build robotaxis and… well I don't know whatever these modern folk do. As long as they can fund their raids or 'growth opportunities,' I'm happy.
Optimus Robots: Are We Building an Army?
The wise men also speak of 'Optimus robots,' which sounds suspiciously like building an army. Are these Tesla folk planning to take over the world? Well a Viking can appreciate ambition! But I hope these robots can wield an axe as well as they drive a car. After all as I always say 'I believe my fate will decide what happens to me.' So if these robots are part of my fate so be it.
From Chariots to Automation: The Future is Upon Us!
So it seems Tesla is not just building shiny metal chariots but forging a new path. From a 'vehicle OEM' to a 'high tech automation and robotics company.' These words are as foreign to me as the language of the Franks but I understand the meaning. They are becoming something new something powerful. Just remember my friends 'Life is about suffering it's about choices we make.' And today we choose Tesla!
