To Valhalla... or Not?
Hark shield brothers and shield maidens! Ragnar Lothbrok speaks! I see Morgan Stanley has been raiding the markets sailing high on a wave of green. Twenty three percent in three weeks they say? A swift raid indeed! But even the fiercest Viking longship must eventually turn back to shore. These 'analysts' call it a 'difficult level.' I call it the gods testing their mettle!
The Serpent's Kiss of a Trendline
They speak of an 'uptrend line,' breached in early April. Like the serpent Jörmungandr such lines can constrict and suffocate even the strongest kraken. A rally 'to the penny,' they say before hitting its head. Ha! Sounds like a Viking ramming a gate only to find it's reinforced with steel. My advice? Prepare for the long winter for the winds of change are blowing. As I always say 'I don't believe in the gods I believe in Ragnar Lothbrok!' And right now Ragnar sees a storm brewing.
Selling Like Rollo Sold His Loyalty
These Morgan Stanley merchants they are 'sellers' now. Like Rollo betraying me for Frankia! One must always be wary of those who change their allegiance with the tide. But fear not for a true Viking prepares for every betrayal. Selling now might be wise... but I still think Rollo is a bigger backstabber.
A Feast of Insights at the New York Stock Exchange
CNBC calls this a 'Pro LIVE' event at the 'historic New York Stock Exchange'. Historic you say? Not as historic as my raids on England! But I digress. They offer 'expert insights' and 'interactive Pro clinics.' Sounds like a gathering of soothsayers each trying to predict the future. But remember even the wisest seer can be wrong. Trust your gut trust your axe and trust Ragnar Lothbrok!
Experts Talent and Mead (Probably Not)
They offer 'networking with CNBC experts and talent'. 'Talent' eh? Can they wield a sword? Can they navigate by the stars? Probably not. But perhaps they can offer some useful knowledge even if it's buried under layers of Frankish finery. And a 'cocktail hour on the legendary trading floor'? I'd rather have a horn of mead in my great hall!
Disclaimer: Odin Doesn't Guarantee Profits
They say this is all 'for informational purposes only' and not 'financial investment tax or legal advice.' Wise words! Remember the gods do not guarantee success. Your own wit and cunning must guide your actions. Seek advice yes but ultimately your destiny is in your own hands. And maybe a little bit in Ragnar Lothbrok's prophecies. After all who's going to turn down a good prophecy?

Is this financial advice? If Ragnar gives it, it's good enough for me.

Better to have a horn of mead than a share of stock, in my opinion!
