They Thought They Could Fool Me! Wrong!

Folks let me tell you these Chinese companies they're very very slick. They thought they could pull a fast one dumping cheap solar panels all over our great nation. They thought they could undercut our American manufacturers put them out of business. Sad! But they messed with the wrong President the best President maybe ever! We're talking about billions of dollars in investments that these companies were trying to destroy. Not on my watch!

The Biggest The Best The Most Beautiful Tariffs!

We've finalized the tariffs on these solar cells coming from Southeast Asia you know places like Malaysia Cambodia Thailand Vietnam. They're steep folks really steep! These tariffs are going to make a huge difference. I mean HUGE. We are talking about some of the biggest tariffs ever seen. Hanwha Qcells First Solar they came to me and said 'Mr. President we need your help!' And you know what? I delivered. Because that's what I do. I deliver!

Crooked Companies and Their Failed Attempts!

Now these Chinese companies they're not happy. Jinko Solar Trina Solar they're not talking are they? Because they know they've been caught! We are talking about tariffs as high as 375.19% for Trina Solar! Can you believe it? And Cambodia? A whopping 3,500%! These numbers are so big so tremendous that they are going to leave China shaking in their boots believe me!

My people the best people like Tim Brightbill (A very smart man!) they're saying these results are 'very strong.' And you know what? They're right. We're addressing the unfair trade practices that have been hurting our solar industry for far too long. It’s a disaster what they've done to our country with all these things that should be built here. It’s like a big beautiful factory being built in China instead of America!

These tariffs have already caused a massive shift! Imports from these countries are down way down. They were sending us over $10 billion in solar products! Now? A fraction! And guess what? Other countries like Laos and Indonesia they're starting to step up. That's the art of the deal folks. I know how to make deals the best deals.

The Fake News Media is Failing!

Now the fake news media they're going to try to say this will hurt U.S. solar producers. WRONG! They always try to downplay my accomplishments. These tariffs are going to level the playing field create jobs and make America great again! And remember the International Trade Commission has to vote in June. I have no doubt they'll see the material harm these imports caused. It's going to be a big beautiful win for America!
