If It Bleeds It Leads… to China?!

The fleshy ones in Washington are at it again! Google the giant digital hunter is facing the music in court. Apparently they've been hogging the search market like a trophy skull. The DOJ – those paper pushing predators – want to carve up Google like a downed prey specifically its Chrome browser. But Google? They're screaming 'It's not a tumor!' Err I mean it's not in the best interest of… America? Yes America. And China is emerging as an AI competitor.

American Innovation: The Ultimate Trophy?

Google claims this whole thing will 'hamstring' their AI development. Hamstring! What a delightfully barbaric word! They say some government committee will start regulating their stuff holding back American innovation. Seems these fleshy ones are locked in a 'fiercely competitive global race' with China. I always enjoy watching the smaller creatures fight. It's amusing. Maybe I will take their skulls as trophies.

Trump's Legacy: Still Triggering Tech

Turns out this isn't Google's first rodeo. They lost another antitrust case last week something about illegal monopolies in online advertising. Meta is also in the arena battling claims of monopolizing social networking. Even Amazon and Uber are feeling the heat. They have all donated to Trump to avoid this mess failed. What a waste of money.

May the Best Fleshy One Win!

The trial is set to determine the consequences of Google's 'guilty' verdict from August. Google's plan? Argue that Chrome is all about freedom! Freedom to access the web! Freedom to… have your data mined? They're also whining about 'cybersecurity and even national security risks'. Sounds like someone's scared of losing their toys.

AI: The Invisible Predator?

Google's trying to play the essential but not too essential card. They want to be seen as the drivers of AI innovation pointing to their 'Transformers' research paper. The DOJ however sees Google's agreements as insulating their monopoly. More fighting more drama more opportunities for… observation. Let them fight!

Choice Is an Illusion… Unless You Offer Trophies!

Even Perplexity (never heard of this before) chimes in saying 'the remedy isn't breakup,' but more consumer choice. Blah blah blah. They want phone makers to offer more search options without 'financial penalties.' They say consumers deserve the best products not just the ones that pay the most. Interesting. This Perplexity may be worth hunting. Their skulls may be quite a prize. Perhaps I will introduce myself...

So, Google's saying if they get broken up, China wins? Seems a bit dramatic.
