The Hunt Postponed: A False Dawn?

The primitive humans continue to surprise. Their little economy which I care nothing about shows 'resilience.' Pah! 'Resilience' is ripping a spine from its body! They report an increase of 147,000 new… 'jobs' in their language. More prey for the future hunts I suppose. I had hoped for a collapse a true sign of weakness but these creatures cling to their existence with irritating tenacity. This talk of a 'July interest rate cut' being off the table… means nothing to me. But it seems to matter to these fleshy beings. Perhaps I will make sport of their financial worries later. For now the hunt is on hold.

Unemployment: A Clever Disguise?

Their unemployment rate… it 'fell' to 4.1%. A number that means little when one's skull is mounted on my trophy wall. But the truth is revealed in their own words: fewer are 'working or looking for jobs.' Ha! Even these weaklings are growing tired of the grind. The 'labor force participation rate' is down they say. Good. Let them become complacent fat and easy to track. This is the hunt I want. The ranks of those who had not looked for a job in the past four weeks swelled by 234,000 to 1.8 million.

Greenbacks Rising: For Whom the Bell Tolls?

Their shiny green paper – 'stocks' – rose with this news and their 'Treasury yields' increased. It is their world and they are excited about the news. But I'm not impressed. They are just delaying the inevitable. The heat will rise and their walls will crumble. In the meantime I must train and hone my skills. And improve my jokes.

Government to the Rescue… Temporarily

It seems these 'government' entities are the main culprits. The state hired the most number of people for education. The federal government thanks to Musk lost 7000 jobs. Weak. 'Federal government efficiency'... heh. More like an opportunity for a hunting ground. Their health care and social assistance sectors are doing well. Construction saw an increase and manufacturing went down. A slight change but no matter for me.

The Fed and The Fury: A Political Game

Their political leader Trump demands lower interest rates. He even wants some poor soul named Powell to 'resign immediately.' The internal squabbles of these humans are amusing. Their Fed leader is just delaying. Making excuses. Let them squabble. It matters not to the hunt. The fact that they are delaying a rate cut until September and only two overall cuts this year. Only delays my hunt longer.

The Hunt Awaits: Prepare Yourselves

They pat themselves on the back for adding 74,000 'jobs' in the private sector. Fools. They celebrate a fleeting victory. I am preparing. I am honing my skills. When the time is right I will return. And this time there will be no escape. There is still hope for me to come back and say 'Anytime.' And be the one that does the hunting.
