Teddy's Triumph! Hasbro's Games Get a Gold Star (and Maybe a Biscuit?)

Right so apparently some very clever people at a place called Goldman... something or other (sounds like a fancy cheese shop doesn't it?) think Hasbro is going to do rather well. You know Hasbro the people who make things like... um... that game where you go to jail and buy hotels! And... and teddy bears aren't they? Anyway they reckon the shares (whatever *they* are) could go up! Imagine more money for... well not me probably. Unless... hmm...

Magic Tricks and Cardboard Castles

They’re all excited about something called Magic: The Gathering. Sounds a bit like when I tried to make my socks disappear in the washing machine (didn't work just got a lot of fluff). Apparently these cards have characters from… Fortnite? Is that like a really big spoon? And Dungeons & Dragons! I tried to play that once with Teddy but he mostly just wanted to eat the dice. "Accidents will happen!" as I always say especially when I'm near a cake.

Digital Dilemmas!

Now this is where it gets a bit confusing. They're talking about 'self published digital gaming strategy.' Sounds terribly complicated. I prefer games you can hold like... well like holding Teddy! He’s quite good at hide and seek mostly because he just sits very still.

Toy Troubles? Not Anymore!

Apparently the toy business is doing better than expected. Less trouble with those... tariffs! That's a relief. I once tried to pay a bus fare with buttons. Didn't go down well. The bus conductor looked at me like I'd just landed from Mars. Maybe I should have used a stamp! "The key to a happy life is ignoring things that don't matter!"

Wizards and Wallets

They’re banking on something called Wizards of the Coast to make a lot of money. More money than finding a ten pound note in your old trousers! They think it will get even bigger over the next few years. I wonder if they sell invisible ink? That would be useful for writing secret messages to Teddy! What do you mean Teddy cannot read?

Monopoly Money!

So all in all the clever cheese shop people at Goldman... whatever think Hasbro is a good bet. More money more games maybe even a new car for me! (A *small* one of course.) Right off to find my piggy bank! And maybe practice my disappearing sock trick. "I'm an ordinary man with an extraordinary talent for making things extremely difficult for myself!"
