Woah! What a Comeback!
Hey everyone Jackie Chan here! You know sometimes life punches you in the face harder than I punch bad guys in Shanghai Noon! But just like in my movies you gotta get back up! I read this crazy news about Wall Street – boom! – turning around after President Trump said 'Okay maybe less tariffs!' It's like when I'm fighting ten guys and suddenly they all trip over each other. Lucky!
Don't Be a Chicken!
This Jim Cramer guy from CNBC he's saying the same thing I always say: never give up! He said 'Stay in the game when there's total despair!' That's like when I'm hanging off a building by one finger. You think I let go? NO! I find another finger hold! Cramer's right you gotta be like bamboo – bend don't break! Don't be a chicken!
Tariff Troubles! Uh Oh!
So what happened? Apparently before this good news the stock market was doing worse than me trying to cook noodles for my daughter in 'The Spy Next Door'. Total disaster! It almost went into 'bear market' territory which sounds scary like fighting a real bear! But then BAM! Trump's tariff pause gave it a kick in the pants!
Hold On Tight!
Cramer kept telling everyone to 'Don't sell just hold!' That's like when I'm driving a car off a cliff – you don't jump you find a way to land safely! He said it's different than the big financial crisis. This time it's more like someone's playing a trick like in 'Rush Hour' when Chris Tucker keeps messing with me!
Stay the Course My Friends!
Even when the stock futures were crashing harder than I crash cars Cramer stayed cool. He said 'Stay the course!' Which is what my father always told me before every stunt! It means don't panic trust your training and maybe just maybe you'll land on your feet!
Timing is Everything! Or Is It?
Cramer also said you can't time the market. It's too hard to know when the good days will happen. He says there are only a couple of handful of days that make up the entire year of performance. In other words investing is like trying to catch a pigeon with chopsticks. Sometimes you get lucky but most of the time you just end up with noodle on your face!
