From High Kicks to High Hopes: A New Boss in Town!

Hello my friends! It's Jackie Chan here ready to tell you a story not about action movies but about... socks! Yes you heard right socks! The company Bombas you know the ones from 'Shark Tank,' are getting a new leader. David Heath the founder is passing the torch – or should I say the sock – to Jason LaRose. David says he's reached a point where he's thinking 'I don't know what to do next!' which trust me I understand. Sometimes I look at a fight scene and think the same thing! But like a good stunt you need the right person for the job!

Sock cess Story: The $2 Billion Milestone

Now this Jason guy he's no rookie. He's been with Under Armour and Equinox. Big companies! Bombas is doing great though – $2 billion in lifetime sales! That's more money than I've spent on bandages after all my crazy stunts! Their revenue is up and their profits are 'super healthy.' I like the sound of that healthy like a good bowl of congee after a long day of filming. They're even selling slippers now! I should get some – my feet deserve a rest after all those kicks.

Wholesale Warfare: Taking the Fight to the Stores!

But here's the real kicker (pun intended!). Bombas wants to grow bigger than my collection of porcelain figurines. To do that they need to move beyond just selling online. They want to get into stores! Imagine Bombas socks everywhere! It's like my movies – you can find them in every country in every language! Jason LaRose wants wholesale to jump from 7% to 20% of their sales. That's a big jump like trying to leap over a building... which you know I've done a few times.

Brick and Mortar Bombshell: Stores? Genius!

They're thinking about opening their own stores too! Smart move! As Jason says most socks are sold in actual stores. It's a chance to tell their story let people touch and feel the product. It's like when I meet fans – they get to see the real Jackie Chan not just the guy on the screen. Bombas is already in Nordstrom Scheels and Dick's Sporting Goods. They're not going to Amazon though. Smart! You need partners you can trust people who understand your mission like my stunt team. We're a family!

Brand Awareness Kung Fu: Protecting the Image!

Now here's where it gets serious. These online companies they worry about selling in stores because it's less profitable. But Bombas is smart. They understand the importance of their brand. They spent years making the 'most comfortable socks underwear and T shirts.' That's like me spending years perfecting my Drunken Master style! You need to protect your image like a precious antique vase... which I’ve definitely broken a few of in my movies!

Profitability and Partnerships: The Final Showdown!

Bombas is all about making money but they also care about their brand. They want partners who will 'do an excellent job taking care of our brand.' It’s all about finding the right partners. Remember what I always say: 'Don't do things halfway. If you love something love it with all your heart.' Bombas loves socks and they are committed to finding new innovative ways to spread that love. This is a very exciting chapter and I know they will continue to make comfortable socks for everyone!
