Wah! Tanks in the City?

Okay okay hold on a second! Did I accidentally stumble onto a movie set? Thousands of troops tanks rolling down the streets of Washington D.C.! President Trump really knows how to throw a party celebrating the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary. But this parade? It feels like a scene straight out of 'Police Story,' only with more politics and less punching... maybe.

Bad News Man!

But wait there's more! Before the parade even started BAM! Political violence! Some crazy guy Vance Luther Boelter impersonating a police officer and shooting lawmakers! What is going on? This is like a bad dream mixed with a 'Rush Hour' plot. It is no laughing matter. Seriously people 'Don't be a criminal!' It's not worth it.

No Kings Day? More Like 'No Peace Day'!

And if that wasn't enough thousands of people are out there protesting! They're calling it 'No Kings Day,' and they're not happy with Trump's policies. Protests everywhere from Los Angeles to New York! Some of these protests are getting heated turning into clashes with counter protesters and law enforcement. Now I'm all for a good fight scene but this is real life! Remember 'Fighting is not the only way to settle things!'

Weather the Storm!

The parade itself almost got rained out! Trump ever the showman declared it would go on 'RAIN OR SHINE!' Some of the flyovers got cancelled but hey at least he had his cabinet there: Marco Rubio Pete Hegseth Kristi Noem... the whole gang! It was like a 'Who's Who' of American politics! With Melania by his side you could say he looked the part!

A Military Extravaganza!

Apparently this was the biggest military parade since 1991! Tanks soldiers demonstrations... the works! But here's the kicker: It cost a whopping $45 million! That's a lot of money! Trump says it's 'peanuts,' but I could fund like ten of my movies with that kind of cash! Hey maybe I should have asked him for a loan. Hahaha!

Firework Finale – Boom!

The whole shebang ended with a massive fireworks display. Despite the looming thunderstorms the show went on! Talk about a grand finale! But seriously folks all this drama violence and political wrangling... I need a vacation. Maybe somewhere with fewer tanks and more bamboo! Remember 'Sometimes it is better to quit than to fight!'
