Turns out companies are buying up PCs like I buy up dates... or try to anyway. They're prepping for those Trump tariffs and let me tell you things are getting hot in here... almost as hot as when I'm oiling up my... never mind. Canalys says shipments jumped over 9% while IDC says nearly 5%. That's like a whole lot of giggity going on!

So why all the fuss? Turns out President Trump's tariff plans are causing quite the stir. It's like when Peter Griffin tries to dance – chaotic and a little scary. These tariffs could really mess with the demand for computers and other gadgets mostly because they're made in places like Asia. It’s enough to make a grown man say “Alright!”… maybe even twice!

The PC market has been kinda dull lately but things are starting to heat up! Think of it like a date with Bonnie – it starts slow but you never know where it might lead... unless you're Joe then it leads nowhere. Last year shipments only grew by 1% after a couple of rough years. But now thanks to Trump and his tariffs it's like the PC market is suddenly the hottest thing in Quahog. Giggity!

104% Tariff?! That's More Than My… Uh… Never Mind!

This latest round of tariffs is no joke! We're talking about a 104% tariff on goods from China where a ton of PCs are made. Vietnam Thailand and India are also in the crosshairs. IDC's Ryan Reith says some manufacturers are already holding back PCs. It's like when I hold back... well you get the idea. Reith says the interesting stuff is still to come. It's either inventory overload or nothing gets shipped. That's a tough choice! I prefer the choice of blondes brunettes or redheads. Giggity!

Notebooks and Desktops Do the Giggity!

Notebook shipments are up 10% and desktops are up 8%! The U.S. saw the biggest jump but things might cool down as everyone gets their fill and prices go up. Apple's shipments are up 14% and ASUS is up 11%. Even Lenovo and HP are seeing growth! So what does this all mean?
