Cloud Software Vendors Banding Together? Giggity!
Alright fellas Quagmire here your favorite aviator and purveyor of all things… ahem… interesting. Seems like the tech world is getting a little handsy lately! We're talking Google Amazon Microsoft Nvidia and more investing big bucks in AI startups but guess what? The cloud software vendors are starting to get in on the action too. And they're banding together! It's like a digital orgy of innovation and Quagmire wants in!
Veza's Got the Keys to the Digital Kingdom
So this company called Veza right? Their software helps companies manage who gets to touch what inside their fancy computer systems. They just raked in $108 million in funding from Atlassian Snowflake and Workday. Snowflake's been using Veza for two years to see who's been reading and writing where they shouldn't be. Kinda like peeking at Lois' diary but with more code and less restraining orders. Giggity! Over provisioning is a serious issue which can raise odds of attack because there’s just a lot of stuff that no one is even paying attention to.
Cybersecurity is the Name of the Game!
This funding is coming at a spicy time fellas. Startup exits are cooling off faster than a date with Meg Griffin and Donald Trump's tariff proposals has made companies delay their offerings. This means startup investors need to be extra careful with their cash. Speaking of dangerous times cybersecurity is hotter than a night with the Swedish Bikini Team. All those cyberattacks make next gen security software super important.
Microsoft and Okta Join the Party
In the world of access management Microsoft is leading the pack with Okta hot on their heels. Veza isn't trying to compete directly instead focusing on visibility something other vendors are lacking. Tarun Thakur Veza's CEO says that they've "woken up a sleeping industry." Makes me wonder what *else* he's been waking up. Hehe. Giggity!
Headquarters in a House? Sign Me Up!
Apparently Veza's CEO runs the whole operation out of his house in California. Now *that's* what I call a startup perk! A company of 200 people all managed from home. Sales have more than doubled. Customers include AMD CrowdStrike and Intuit.
Atlassian's Got a Foot in the Door Giggity!
Peter Lenke from Atlassian says his company isn't a Veza client *yet* but there's potential down the road. He says Atlassian investments benefit startups because they've got a large footprint in enterprises. "I think there's a great symbiotic match there," he says. Sounds like someone's trying to get a *foot* in the door! Giggity!

This Veza company sounds like a real winner. I'm in!

A great symbiotic match? I wonder what kind of benefits they're talking about…
