Run, Forrest, Run... To Buy Some Stocks! (But Not Too Fast!)

Mama Always Said...

Mama always said 'Life is like a box of chocolates Forrest you never know what you're gonna get.' Well these days even Wall Street is like that box! But this fella at Wells Fargo name of Donald he's saying Mastercard and Visa are like them chocolates you KNOW you're gonna like. He says even with all this talk about 'stablecoins' – which sounds like horses locked in a barn if you ask me – these companies are still good as gold... or maybe plastic since they do cards and all.

Stablecoins? Sounds Like a Box of Rocks!

Now this 'stablecoin' business is makin' some folks nervous. They think it's gonna take over from good ol' Mastercard and Visa. Donald says it's like them account to account payments. Sounds kinda complicated. Like Lieutenant Dan tryin' to use a computer I reckon. But Donald doesn't think these stablecoins are gonna run faster than the wind. He says there are hurdles... like runnin' in shoes that are too tight! Banks probably won't like it neither.

The GENIUS Act and Jenny's Ghost

Ever since this 'GENIUS Act' came about the price of Mastercard and Visa shares went down kinda like when Jenny left me. But Donald says not to worry your pretty little head. He thinks all this fear will fade away. He says you can't have the wild west in payments. I don't know what the wild west has to do with payin' for things but I guess Wall Street folks talk funny sometimes. It's like tryin' to understand Lieutenant Dan when he's had a few too many.

Wall Street's Kinda Diggin' It

Seems like most folks on Wall Street think Mastercard and Visa are good companies too. A whole bunch of 'em have 'strong buy' or 'buy' ratings. Now I don't know what a 'rating' is but it sounds important. Like when Bubba rated the shrimp I guess. Anyway that means they think the stocks will go up up up! Like a feather in the wind... but hopefully more predictable.

Run Forrest Run... to the Bank?

So Donald at Wells Fargo he's tellin' folks to buy these stocks while they're down. He thinks they'll go up about 15%. That's a lotta shrimp I tell you what. It's like runnin' all the way to the ocean and back! He says to keep an eye on Mastercard and Visa. Me? I'm gonna go play some ping pong. But maybe I'll buy a share or two... just in case.

And that's all I have to say about that. Investing is kinda like life full of surprises. But sometimes like Mama said you just gotta do what you do best and forget the rest. I'm gonna go run now. Maybe I'll accidentally run into some money. You never know!
