Run Forrest, Run! Stock Market's Like a Box of Chocolates!

Mama Always Said...

Mama always said 'Life is like a box of chocolates Forrest you never know what you're gonna get.' And let me tell you the stock market today was just like that box! One minute it's sweet the next it's got one of them coconut ones nobody likes. I ain't too bright but even I saw some big moves out there.

Meta's Runnin' Fast!

First off that Facebook thing Meta Platforms well it was runnin' like I do when I see Jenny. They beat what folks expected and their shares jumped up like Lt. Dan after he got his new legs. They're spendin' money on data centers which sounds like a whole lotta nothin' to me but the smart folks seem to think it's a good thing.

Wayfair Way Better!

Then there's this online store Wayfair. Seems they did better than expected too. Makin' money on furniture and stuff. Good for them! Maybe they can send a nice new chair to the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. so Lt. Dan has somewhere comfy to sit when he's countin' all our money. Shrimp money is good money you know!

Tesla's Not Goin' Anywhere!

Heard somethin' 'bout that Tesla fella Elon Musk folks sayin' he might leave. But Tesla said 'Nope!'. That reminds me of when I told Jenny I wasn't smart but I knew what love was!

Eli Lilly's Got the Blues

But not everyone was doin' the Gump seems like Eli Lilly the medicine folks had a bit of a stumble. They're expectin' less money this year 'cause of some deal gone sour. Reminds me of when Bubba got hit by that rocket; sometimes life just gives you lemons or in their case not as many greenbacks. But they got those weight loss and diabetes drugs sellin' so maybe they'll be alright.

And That's All I Have to Say About That

So that's the stock market for today. Some ups some downs just like a see saw. I don't understand all the fancy numbers and words but I do know this: keep runnin' keep tryin' and maybe just maybe you'll end up with a box of chocolates you actually like. Now if you'll excuse me I think I hear Jenny callin'.
