Aw, Phooey! SpaceX's Starship Goes BOOM... Again!

Another Fine Mess!

Aw phooey! This is Donald Duck reporting and let me tell ya things ain't exactly been smooth sailing for that Elon Musk fella and his fancy schmancy Starship rocket. They had another test flight on Tuesday and BAM! Just like my temper when Huey Dewey and Louie decide to 'help' with the dishes it went kablooey! It's the third time can you believe it? Three times! What's the big idea?!

Fuel Leak Follies!

So the whole shebang is supposed to be about 400 feet tall. Big right? Well it went up that's true. But then according to the livestream – which I watched naturally for important journalistic purposes! – the first part the booster went boom. And the second part that Starship thingy had a fuel leak bigger than Uncle Scrooge's swimming pool! It started spinning like me when I try to ice skate then… you guessed it… KABOOM! 'Oh boy oh boy oh boy!' This is gettin' ridiculous!

The FAA Says… Nothing Much!

The Federal Aviation Administration – those folks who are supposed to keep things safe – said they're "aware an anomaly occurred." Anomaly? ANOMALY?! It exploded! I could've told them that. They also said nobody got hurt or nothing got busted on the ground. Which is good I guess. But still 'This makes me mad!'

Musk's Mumble Jumble!

That Musk fella he went on that X thing and said it was a "big improvement" because the engine stopped when it was supposed to. He also said the leaks were the problem. Leaks! Like a leaky faucet! Maybe he should call a plumber not build rockets! He wants to launch one every three weeks or so. At this rate the sky's gonna be full of exploding rockets! 'What a day!'

Government Greenbacks!

And here's the real kicker. Turns out SpaceX has gotten a whole lotta money from the government! Billions! And they might get even more for some missile shield thingy. All that money and the rockets are still going 'WHOO OO!' and then 'KABOOM!' Seems a bit fishy to this duck if you ask me.

Efficiency... Or Lack Thereof?

But get this! Musk is also in charge of making the government more 'efficient'! And he's been cuttin' budgets and staff at places like the FAA the very folks who are supposed to watch over him! 'Aw what's the use?' It's like lettin' the fox guard the henhouse! Something smells rotten in Denmark or maybe just in Texas.
