Oh Boy Oh Boy Oh Boy...Trouble!

Aw phooey! This is Donald Duck reporting and things in Minnesota are messier than my nephews' room after a pillow fight! There's this guy Vance Luther Boelter – sounds like a villain from one of my cartoons! – who's been impersonating a police officer. And get this he's accused of some REALLY fowl deeds. I'm talking about a 'politically motivated assassination,' according to the news. I feel like I'm starring in one of those creepy mystery shows!

He Shot Who?

This Boelter character apparently went after Minnesota Democratic state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark. And…gulp…they didn't make it. Then as if that wasn't bad enough he allegedly shot Democratic state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette! They're in the hospital but thankfully they're stable. I tell ya this whole thing is giving me the quivers!

Everyone's Got the Quivers!

Senator Amy Klobuchar bless her heart is saying everyone's on edge 'cause this Boelter fella might strike again! He’s like Pete always causing trouble! They think he might still be in the Midwest maybe even South Dakota. Klobuchar says they’re gonna find him. I hope so! The sooner they catch him the better for everyone’s sanity!

Mourning the Loss

Seems like Melissa Hortman was a real swell gal. Governor Tim Walz even called her "the most consequential Speaker in state history." Senator Klobuchar remembered her as a "true public servant." It's a sad day when folks resort to violence like this. It's enough to make even a tough duck like me shed a tear...or maybe it's just the onions I had for lunch!

Not Tolerated!

Even President Trump said this kind of violence “will not be tolerated!” And you know what? He's right! This isn't like the harmless squabbles I have with Goofy. This is serious business!
