Of Course This Means War... On Pneumonia!

Eh what's up Doc? It's yours truly Bugs Bunny reporting live from... well not exactly *my* rabbit hole but close enough. Seems like that Pope fella Francis decided to pop out of his own hole – er hospital bed – to greet the peeps on Palm Sunday. And I gotta say for a guy who's been battling double pneumonia he looked pretty spry! Almost makes ya wanna say "Ain't I a stinker?" for ever doubtin' him.

Wheelie Good Recovery!

The buzz around St. Peter's Square was that the Pope was zoomin' around in a wheelchair like he was auditionin' for the next 'Wacky Races'! He even gave a wave and a 'Happy Palm Sunday Happy Holy Week!' to the crowd. I tell ya that's one way to make an entrance. And no nasal tubes this time folks! Looks like he's kickin' that pneumonia right in the keister or as Yosemite Sam would say "I'm gonna blow him to smithereens!"

A Blessing and a Sweet Treat!

Now get this folks. On his way back the Pope stopped to bless a rosary AND offer candy to some kid! A rosary and a sugar rush – talk about covering all your bases! Almost makes ya think he's got some Elmer Fudd level trickery up his sleeve. You know 'Shhh. Be vewy vewy quiet. I'm huntin' wabbits!'

Crowd Control Pope Style!

The doc ordered him to avoid crowds but what does the Pope do? He rolls right into St. Peter's Square! Guess he figured "Ehhh what's one little crowd gonna do?" He's clearly missin' his fans you know? I get it. I mean who wouldn't want to see *me*?

Holy Week Shenanigans!

So the Vatican's playin' coy about what the Pope's gonna do for Holy Week. Probably plannin' some kinda surprise right? Maybe he'll pop out of a giant Easter egg! You never know with these guys. I betcha they're thinkin' of making this the best Holy Week yet. Despicable?

Prayers Palm Branches and a Bit of Worry

The Pope sent out some prayers for Sudan Lebanon Ukraine the Middle East Congo Myanmar and South Sudan. Plus the crowd came out in full force! And even though the people were nervous about the weather possibly making the Pope stay inside he came out anyway! Like I always say "This looks like a job for a SUPER RABBIT!"
