What's up Doc? Yours truly Bugs Bunny reporting live from the hole in the ground news desk! Seems the stock market's gone a little looney – toons that is! After some big shot presidential orders nuclear power stocks decided to take a hop skip and a jump all the way to the moon! Companies like Oklo and NuScale are doing the Bunny Hop of Profits. Even Constellation Energy got a little boost – ain't that somethin'? I always knew those electrons were up to somethin'!

Small Reactors: Are They Dynamite?

Now this Trump fella he's sayin' these small advanced reactors are the future. Says they're gonna be smaller like me compared to Yosemite Sam! But he also mentioned building the BIG ones 'the very very big the biggest!' Sounds like someone's got a case of the gigantism! Still if these small ones are so good maybe they will fit into my hole!

Here's the kicker Doc: Trump wants the Nuclear Regulatory Commission – that's the NRC for short – to speed things up. They gotta make decisions on those nuclear license applications quicker than I can disappear down a rabbit hole! Eighteen months they say! Why that's practically a lifetime in cartoon years! Now get this Doc. Apparently Uncle Sam wants to build nuclear reactors right on his own property! The Departments of Energy and Defense are gonna get in on the act too.
