Well whaddya know? That Warren Buffett that old sly dog he's finally calling it quits as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. After all these years he's handing over the reins to some fella named Greg Abel. But don't go crying to your mama folks! The board approved it and Buffett's sticking around as chairman. Sounds like a scheme to me! But hey who am I to judge? I'm just a bunny... a *very* smart bunny.

Running Circles Around the Competition? I Do That All The Time Folks!

And get this Berkshire's stock has been doing the Watusi all these years! We're talking a whopping 5,502,284% increase since 1965! That's enough to make even Yosemite Sam blush. The S&P 500? Just a measly 39,054%. Pshaw! I've seen bigger numbers on a carrot cake recipe. That Buffett he really knows how to make a buck... or in this case a whole lotta bucks!

Eh Some Years You Win Some Years You Get The Anvil!

Now it ain't all been sunshine and carrots. There were a few times when Berkshire lagged behind like in 2023 when the S&P bounced back. But even then this professor fella named Jeremy Siegel said Buffett's still top carrot in the garden! Over the last decade Berkshire still outperformed the S&P by nearly 2%. As I always say "This calls for a celebration!"

The Berkshire board approved the decision with the billionaire continuing his other role as chairman. He will pass the CEO baton to designated successor Greg Abel. Abel better bring carrots to the table.

You bet your sweet aspharagus! Buffett's heading out on a high note. The stock is climbin' like I'm runnin' from Elmer Fudd! It's hit an all time high just in time for their annual meeting. Meanwhile the S&P 500 is lookin' a little wilted. As I always say "Ain't I a stinker?"
