Netflix and Chill... In Space!
Ay caramba! Your favorite prankster Bart Simpson here with some earth shattering news! NASA yeah those guys who launch rockets and stuff are teaming up with Netflix! That's right all their live action stuff from rockets blasting off to astronauts doing zero G gymnastics is coming to a screen near you this summer. I guess even NASA wants to binge watch something besides moon rocks.
Free Space Stuff? Don't Have a Cow!
Hold your horses space cadets! Before you sell your soul for a Netflix subscription NASA wants you to know it’s still free on their app and website. So if you're like me and Mom says "No more allowance for pranks!" you can still catch the action. But who wouldn't want to watch a rocket launch between episodes of 'Itchy & Scratchy'?
NASA+: Not Just Another Crappy Streaming Service
Apparently NASA has this thing called NASA+ which launched last year. Some grown up named Rebecca Sirmons said they're sharing their story of space exploration with everyone. Sounds like a good excuse to skip school and watch rockets. I bet Milhouse is already signed up. Poor Milhouse...
Musk Mania: SpaceX Dominates!
Alright let's talk about the real space dude Elon Musk! His company SpaceX has been launching rockets like they're going out of style! Eighty one launches in the first half of the year?! That's more than I've had detentions! And they're the only ones who can get astronauts to that fancy International Space Station. Eat my shorts NASA... wait never mind. They're on Netflix now!
Low Earth Orbit Blues (and Boosts)
While Musk is busy conquering Mars (or whatever rich people do) NASA's been puttering around in low Earth orbit. Whatever at least they get to be on Netflix now. Maybe they'll even get their own animated series like 'Cosmic Cops' or 'Rocket Racers'. I'd watch that!
Netflix Stock Soars Higher Than a Rocket!
And get this! Netflix is rolling in the dough! Their stock is higher than Bart Simpson after downing a sugar rush of Squishees! Up almost 51% this year! Probably because they're finally showing something cool. Maybe they'll use the extra money to buy me a lifetime supply of Krusty Burgers. A kid can dream can't he?
