Groovy Chip Troubles for Nvidia Yeah Baby Yeah!

Oh behave! It seems Nvidia's hit a snag bigger than my cravat collection. They're expecting a whopping $5.5 billion charge because of these groovy export restrictions on their H20 graphics processing units to China and other mysterious locales. Apparently Uncle Sam's got his eye on these chips and now Nvidia needs a license to ship them. Talk about a buzzkill! This is worse than getting caught in a shag carpet!

Sympathy Pains for AMD and Micron Shagadelic!

Not just Nvidia baby! Advanced Micro Devices and Micron Technology are feeling the love too – or rather the lack of it. Their shares took a tumble 7% and 1% respectively in sympathy. It's like when I lost my mojo; everyone around me felt a bit deflated. Oh the humanity!

ASML's Order Enigma: Austin Powers International Man of Mystery!

Even the Dutch are feeling the heat! ASML those fabulous semiconductor equipment folks are down 5%. Their orders didn't quite hit the mark and they're blaming uncertainty from China's tariff situation. Their CEO Christophe Fouquet – sounds French very chic – warns this could drag them to the lower end of their revenue guidance. Oh no not the revenue guidance!

United Airlines Takes Off Yeah!

But hold on! Not all doom and gloom groovy cats. United Airlines is soaring high baby! They earned 91 cents per share beating the analysts' expectations of 76 cents. They may have missed slightly on revenue but still performing better than expected! Whoop dee doo Basil!

Hertz So Good! (And Shares Know It!)

Hertz Global the rental car company got a shot of adrenaline jumping 20%! Seems Pershing Square has taken a new shine to them investing around $46.5 million. Talk about a swingin' investment! Perhaps they're planning a shaguar themed rental fleet baby!

Trump's Tariff Tango! Tesla's Troubles?

And finally Tesla! Those electric pioneers are facing a bit of a challenge as well. Word on the street from Reuters is that President Donald Trump's tariffs on Chinese goods could disrupt their plans to mass produce the Cybercab and Semi electric trucks right here in the good ol' U.S. of A. Can't we all just get along?

Is this the end of the world as we know it?! Probably not. But it's still pretty concerning.
