Valhalla or Bankruptcy?

By Odin's beard! I Ragnar Lothbrok hear tales of woe from across the sea! This 'Liberty Energy,' a company birthed by the one they call 'Trump's Energy Secretary,' is losing value faster than a Viking raiding party after a mead binge! Their stocks have plummeted like a longship capsizing in a storm shedding nearly a third of their worth in just two days. Is this the end times? Are we all doomed to row to Helheim early?

Shale and Sorrow

They say the price of this 'oil' stuff has sunk lower than Floki's mood after a failed voyage. Something about $60 a barrel. Apparently the ones in 'Texas' and 'Louisiana' – lands I've only dreamt of raiding – are not pleased. This 'Saul Kavonic,' a wise man of energy says that they might have to stop digging. Stop digging! What kind of warriors are these? Vikings would never stop raiding no matter the cost! I'd rather die standing than live kneeling.

Trump's Promise: More Blood More Oil?

This 'Chris Wright,' the founder of Liberty once promised lower prices under a Trump leadership. 'More supply,' he said. 'A win for the people!' But is it truly a victory if it leads to such… chaos? Perhaps he should have consulted the Seer before making such pronouncements. He did step down from the throne but it seems to me like the gods are having their way! Did he forget my words: 'Power is always dangerous. It attracts the worst. It corrupts even the best'?

The Trade Winds Blow Ill

Ah yes the 'trade war.' Sounds like a battle without axes or shields but with even more devastating consequences. This 'Trump' unleashes 'tariffs' like I unleash my berserkers! The global markets tremble and even energy stocks cower in fear. OPEC+ are raising their oil productions. They try to match my prowess in war but they should know by now 'I don’t believe in Gods. People should be afraid of people not Gods'.

From Riches to Ragnarok?

This company once worth more than a dragon's hoard now sees its value dwindling faster than a Christian's faith in the face of a Viking raid. They say their market capitalization has shrunk from $2.7 billion to $2.1 billion. That's enough to make even Lagertha weep! I wonder what this 'Ron Gusek' will say in his report. Will he speak of glory or of defeat? Only time will tell. Although time is all knowing.

A Viking's Investment Advice

So what is a Viking to make of all this? Should I invest in this 'Liberty Energy'? Perhaps. But only if they start using longships to transport their 'oil'. Now *that's* a company I could get behind! Remember my words 'Life is a struggle but you must not surrender'. So invest at your own risk and may the gods be with you... or against you depending on how they feel that day.
