The Peaky Blinders of Stuttgart
Right listen up. Blume's in a spot of bother see? Trump's waving his hands around threatening tariffs like a drunk waving a bottle of whisky. Porsche's sweating because all their shiny motors are built in Germany and America is their biggest playground. Seems a bit unfair doesn't it? Like taking candy from a baby. Or taking a Shelby Company Limited motor and slapping a bloody tax on it. We don't like taxes do we?
VW to the Rescue? Or Just Another Game?
Blume's clinging to Volkswagen like a drowning man to a whisky bottle. They're thicker than thieves see? VW's got a factory in America Chattanooga Tennessee. Blume's hoping this means Uncle Sam will be a bit more gentle. But this is business and business is war. Remember what I said? 'Everyone's a whore Grace. We just sell different parts of ourselves.' Even Porsche.
Fair Play? Don't Make Me Laugh
Blume's going on about 'fair solutions' and investments in the U.S. He's hoping Trump will see sense see the bigger picture. But Trump? Sense? That's like expecting Polly to start brewing tea instead of knocking back whisky. It ain't gonna happen. We're dealing with men who play a different game. A game of power greed and the constant threat of a bloody good kicking.
The Tariff Rollercoaster: Hold On Tight
This trade war is a bloody circus. One day it's on the next it's off then it's back on with added clowns. VW's also in the soup thanks to their factories down in Mexico. They're getting a temporary pass but for how long? It's all a game of smoke and mirrors designed to keep blokes like Blume on their toes. Keeps them honest or at least…nervous.
China Syndrome: No More Discounts
Seems Porsche took a hit in China. Sales are down and they're blaming it on a 'pricing war.' Blume says they ain't joining in. They're sticking to quality see? 'Superior intelligence' or something. It's all bollocks of course. They're feeling the pinch like everyone else. But you won't hear a Shelby admit defeat and neither will Blume. We'll just have to be 'exceptionally ruthless'.
Job Losses and EV Blues
They're cutting jobs apparently. Nearly 4,000 of them. And the electric car revolution isn't happening fast enough. Sounds like trouble brewing. But we've faced worse. As my mother always said 'There's God and there are the Peaky Blinders.' And we always find a way even when the odds are stacked against us. The world carries on no matter what and so must we.

Another day, another disaster.

Electric cars are a joke, give me petrol any day.
jokoumbaran
VW better not screw this up for Porsche.
cobrateacher
Shelby Company Limited would handle this better.

Fair solution? Don't hold your breath, Blume.
