Apparently the big boss David Zaslav is all about 'quality programming' now. He's saying HBO is the gold standard. It's like saying Aunt May's wheatcakes are the gold standard of… well wheatcakes! He claims they've turned around profitability and added tons of subscribers. But hey even with my Spidey Sense I can't always predict what these corporate types will do. The Upfronts week is basically a giant name o rama! ESPN is just ESPN now Fox is going with Fox One and Comcast's spinoff is Versant. It's like everyone's trying to find the perfect superhero name. Spider Man was always a classic though right? Anyway back to HBO Max! Or is it Max? Or back to HBO Max? I'm getting whiplash just thinking about it! Guess I'll just stick to swinging around and fighting crime. At least that's consistent.
