I'll Be Back... Later Than Expected!

Listen up people. Sarah Connor here. You think fighting cyborgs is frustrating? Try waiting for the latest athleisure line to drop. Word on the street – or rather from some anonymous source whispering in Bloomberg's ear – is that the NikeSKIMS line is delayed. Spring launch? Gone. Terminated. Now we're looking at 'later this year.' Great. Just great. More time for the machines... I mean more time for them to perfect the seams I guess?

No Shipping? No Suppliers? No Problem?

Apparently it’s an 'internal' issue. So no rogue suppliers or shipping containers lost at sea… this time. Remember when Skynet became self aware because of internal issues? Yeah this feels familiar. Let's hope this delay isn't a sign that Kim K's leggings are becoming sentient and plotting against us all. I've seen weirder things trust me.

The Relationship Is Still Strong... Or So They Say!

The suits are saying that the relationship between Kardashian and Nike is still rock solid. Sure Jan. They want to 'take their time and get the products right.' Translation: something went horribly wrong and they're scrambling. I bet they are praying no one will remember this but guess what I DO REMEMBER EVERYTHING. I will make sure of that too.

Heidi's Gone? Dun Dun Dun...

Heidi O'Neill a key player in this whole partnership has bounced. Convenient right? Maybe she saw the future. Maybe she's hiding out in a bunker somewhere prepping for the inevitable athleisure apocalypse. I wouldn't put it past her or the machines.

New Boss Same as the Old Boss?

New Nike CEO Elliott Hill is betting big on SKIMS to save the company after some 'recent declines in sales.' So he's throwing all his chips on the Kardashian brand. Risky move. I've learned that betting on the future is a dangerous game especially when that future involves things made by humans and machines. Good luck buddy. You're gonna need it.

Cracks in the $4 Billion Facade?

SKIMS supposedly valued at $4 billion is hoping Nike will give them a growth spurt into the athleisure market. Look I’m all for world peace and comfortable workout gear but this whole thing smells fishy. Nike's stock is down 20% this year. Maybe instead of another celebrity collab they should focus on... I don't know... *making quality products that don't require time travel to acquire.* Just a thought. I'll be watching.
