No Time to Bleed Time to Re route!

What hoomans call 'trade war' is… messy. Boeing the metal bird maker finds itself in a Yautja sized pickle. China it seems has stopped accepting shiny new 737 Max planes. These planes were supposed to be gifts but now they sit idle. "They have in fact stopped taking delivery of aircraft due to the tariff environment," says the chief hooman Kelly Ortberg. "If it bleeds we can kill it... or in this case reroute it!"

Max Pain Max Gain!

Some of these 737 Max already in China are doing the walk of shame back to the land of stars and stripes. Ortberg says these birds and future builds intended for the Middle Kingdom may find new owners. "There's plenty of customers out there looking for the Max aircraft," he boasts. Sounds like a good hunt to me. A hunt for cheap planes that is!

Not Gonna Wait Gonna Re negotiate!

Boeing isn't about to let this trade squabble derail their plans oh no. "I'm not going to let this derail the recovery of our company," Ortberg growls. A worthy opponent this one. He understands survival. But can he survive the jungle of global economics?

Losses Narrowed Deliveries Surged...Almost!

The metal bird company reported a smaller loss than anticipated for the first quarter. They also managed to burn less cash. Good for them. But without those Chinese deliveries those numbers might look a bit different. "This is getting better than Rambo..." Not really but worth a quote!

Trump Card Played Maybe?

The big cheese hooman Donald Trump is wavering. Tariffs on Chinese goods he now claims might be too high. "It won't be that high. ... No it won't be anywhere near that high. It'll come down substantially. But it won't be zero," he bellows. Typical hooman diplomacy. One minute roaring the next... not so much. "You are one ugly mother..."...of a negotiator

This is a developing situation. But one thing is clear: some airline is about to get a sweet deal on some 737 Max planes. It is a good day to hunt a bargain!
