A Very Important Injection Indeed!

Right then I was reading the news today. Extraordinary! Seems some clever people at Gilead have made a 'Yeztugo' thingy. Apparently it stops the nasty HIV bug twice a year! Twice! That's like needing to polish my Mini only twice a year! Could it be true? I wonder if it is as useful as Teddy...

Better Than My Sandwich?

They say it's better than those daily pills! No more fumbling with tiny pills every morning. I always seem to drop them much like my sandwiches with cheese and pickle. I wonder if I can use 'Yeztugo' to clean my teeth after I eat a sandwich. I'm sure it'll work. Less fuss! Makes one wonder why they didn’t think of this sooner! Like when I tried to paint my room with explosives sometimes you just need to think.

Ouch! The Price!

Now here's a pickle! This injection costs more than a whole year's supply of baked beans. $28,218 a year they say. Goodness gracious! That's a lot of money. That could buy lots of Minis many packets of cheese and pickle sandwiches and plenty of brown trousers! They promise to help with costs but I'll believe it when I see it. I hope that I don't need to sell my Mini to get the injection!

Worries and Woes

But there are worries. Some people are thinking about cutting the money for such important stuff. Like when I tried to cut my hair with nail clippers. I don't think this is a good plan. How will the people get their hands on this new injection? It's all a bit of a kerfuffle if you ask me. This must be avoided! Teddy will be so upset if no one can get this very important injection!

Giving It Away...Almost

However some very generous people at Gilead will provide this injection for free! Like when I shared my sandwich with Teddy. They’re sending doses to poorer countries. Good on them! Sharing is caring after all. I wonder if they would give me a lifetime supply of baked beans if I ask nicely?

A Brighter Cleaner Future

So what do I think? Well if this injection can stop the nasty bug and helps people that's spiffing! Let's hope it all works out for the best. Now where’s Teddy? I need to give him a hug. Perhaps I'll take him for a drive in my Mini and we'll celebrate with a sandwich and beans on toast! It will be a very momentous day for Mr Bean!
