Okay okay so Lowe's they almost nail the landing! Like when I’m doing a crazy stunt almost break my everything but still… I’m smiling! They said they expect total sales to be around $83.5 billion to $84.5 billion. That's a lot of ladders and hammers! They’re saying investments in stores and technology helped them through the 'near term uncertainty.' Near term uncertainty? Sounds like trying to find a parking spot in Hong Kong!

Falling Short? Or Just a Little Tumble?

The numbers they’re like a complicated fight scene! Earnings per share were $2.92 they expected $2.88 and revenue $20.93 billion vs. $20.94 billion expected. Missing by that much is like… missing a kick by an inch! Still impressive but you know could be better. Like my English! Always improving but sometimes I still say things that make people go 'Huh?'

Net Income? More Like Net…In Complicated!

Net income fell a little like when I trip over a vase in 'Rush Hour.' It went down to $1.64 billion or $2.92 per share. Last year was $1.76 billion or $3.06 per share. Hey even Jackie Chan doesn't win every fight! Sometimes the bad guys get a punch in. But we always come back for the rematch right?

They’re blaming the weather! Like saying it rained so much people couldn't build their decks. Hah! Weather is just an excuse. I fight in the rain in the snow in the desert! But sales on Lowe's website and among home professionals grew. So some people were still building just maybe indoors. Good for them! Be like water my friends.

Full Year Forecast? Optimism is My Middle Name!

Despite the minor stumble Lowe’s is sticking to their forecast. They expect comparable sales to be flat to up 1%. That’s like saying 'I might not jump over the Great Wall of China but I’ll definitely climb it!' Good! Keep the spirit up! Never give up! Like when I say 'I'm too old for this,' and then do another crazy stunt anyway! It's all about hard work and pushing yourself.
